By definition, the realm of media should cover all aspects of life and current events. One aspect I think is underrepresented is stories of hope. Too often, we are fascinated by traumatic stories of the unstable world around us. We hear stories of war, economic catastrophe, and political antagonism - but we hear less about how these situations have molded a new generation of positive and hopeful thinkers. I would love for the media to focus more on unique stories of positivity that may have come from something negative, but that despite all odds are able to give us hope about the world we live in today.
