How do you read the current status of progress made towards ending child labor?.

Romesh Chandana Piero Jay replied 8th Feb '19:

Progress is happening in a number of countries but much more has to be done to further reduce or ideally end child labor and child abuse in many underdeveloped and third-world countries around the globe. Some incidents of child labor and child abuse still happen and continue to happen even in some developed and more affluent countries in Europe and in the North and South American regions too.

Some may say that migrants never experience racism, till they started to interact with their destination? Is there no racism in developing countries?.

Romesh Chandana Piero Jay replied 17th Apr '17:

The true fact is that many migrants do experience racism and other forms of discrimination in developing countries. Sometimes this is called covert or invisible racism and it exists in almost all countries. Covert racism is a form of racial discrimination that is disguised and subtle, rather than public or obvious. Concealed in the fabric of society, covert racism discriminates against individuals through often unnoticeable or seemingly passive methods.
